01OverviewSpec sheet

A fuel-station forecourt that had to be bright, efficient, and weather-proof from day one.

Attock Petroleum Limited (APL) commissioned Crest LED to light its Lake City fuel station in Lahore, an outdoor canopy and street scheme covering 12,000 to 16,000 sq. ft. of forecourt and approach. The brief was high illumination for pumps and traffic, with low heat, low running cost, and fittings built for continuous outdoor duty. Installation completed on 27 March 2026.

A busy fuel site with zero tolerance for glare, downtime, or wasted watts.

A fuel station runs late every night. Canopy and approach lighting has to keep pumps, lanes, and pedestrians clearly visible while holding energy, heat, and maintenance in check. A conventional outdoor scheme could hit the brightness target, but at roughly double the draw, with hotter fittings and more frequent intervention on 8 to 10 metre mounts. Crest LED was engaged to deliver the full brief without those trade-offs.

REQ / 01
Energy-efficient lighting. Minimise power draw across a forecourt running 10 to 12 hours every night.
REQ / 02
High illumination. Bright, even light under the canopy and along the street approach for safe fuelling and traffic.
REQ / 03
Low heat generation.Cool-running fittings suited to continuous outdoor operation in Lahore's climate.
REQ / 04
Long operational life. Minimise relamping on canopy and 8 to 10 metre street poles, where access is slow and costly.
REQ / 05
Outdoor weather resistance. Full ingress protection against dust and monsoon rain on every fitting.
REQ / 06
Reduced maintenance cost. A near-maintenance-free site that keeps running without recurring intervention.

We are satisfied with the performance, consumption reduction, and low maintenance of the lights. The canopy and street scheme delivers the visibility we need without the energy or upkeep burden of a conventional outdoor install.

04The solutionCanopy + street scheme

A dual-product scheme matched to canopy soffit and street poles.

Crest LED surveyed the Lake City forecourt before specifying a scheme that pairs two complementary 100W luminaires, each tuned to where it mounts and the surface it has to light.

Under the fuel canopy we installed 24 × CR-NRB-100W-CPL canopy lights for even soffit coverage across the pump islands. Along the approach and perimeter, 7 × CR-C12-100W-STL street lights on 8 to 10 metre poles throw light across the paved lanes. Together, 31 luminaires cover 12,000 to 16,000 sq. ft.

Every fixture is IP66-sealedagainst dust and rain, runs at 6500K cool white, delivers 140 to 150 lm/W at a 120° beam, and carries a rated life of at least 100,000 hours, pairing efficacy with the weather resistance an exposed fuel site demands.

05Performance analysisPerformance figures

Half the energy, half the carbon, across a 12,000 to 16,000 sq. ft. site.

The site's running profile was modelled against an equivalent conventional outdoor lighting scheme of the same coverage. On a like-for-like basis, the Crest LED design cuts both energy and carbon by half. The 6.2 kW conventional figure is an equivalent baseline derived from the performa's reported 50% saving, not a measured pre-installation load.

Lighting energy↓ 50%

From a ≈ 6.2 kW equivalent baseline to 3.1 kW.

The 31 LED luminaires draw a combined 3,100 W, roughly half the load of an equivalent conventional outdoor scheme delivering the same brightness.
